Turkey Meatballs
Simple recipe -- easy meatballs using lean Turkey for your health.
Equipment
- 1 large sheet pan
- 1 large bowl
Ingredients
- 1-lb Ground Turkey (leaner the better)
- 1 Egg
- 1 Can Tomato Paste
- 1/2 Cup Gluten Free Panko
- 1 Onion
- 3-4 Cloves Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Non-stick spray
- (Optional) Any other seasonings you want
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl (with a pinch or two of salt & pepper)
- Use your hands to evenly mix everything
- Apply non-stick spray to sheet pan
- Form 1" diameter balls using your hands and place on sheet pan (~1-2" apart)
- Bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven until browned. Internal temp should be at least 165 degrees
- Remove from heat and let rest for a minute or two
- Serve
Goes well with a side of rice and sheet pan fried vegetables.
