Turkey Meatballs

Simple recipe -- easy meatballs using lean Turkey for your health.

Equipment

  1. 1 large sheet pan
  2. 1 large bowl

Ingredients

  1. 1-lb Ground Turkey (leaner the better)
  2. 1 Egg
  3. 1 Can Tomato Paste
  4. 1/2 Cup Gluten Free Panko
  5. 1 Onion
  6. 3-4 Cloves Garlic
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper
  9. Non-stick spray
  10. (Optional) Any other seasonings you want

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl (with a pinch or two of salt & pepper)
  3. Use your hands to evenly mix everything
  4. Apply non-stick spray to sheet pan
  5. Form 1" diameter balls using your hands and place on sheet pan (~1-2" apart)
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven until browned. Internal temp should be at least 165 degrees
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute or two
  8. Serve

Goes well with a side of rice and sheet pan fried vegetables.
